3. Data processing when visiting our webpage
Every time you visit one of our webpages, the required access data is stored in a log file on the SPONSORs server. This data is not personal data. In particular, IP addresses are anonymised. Among others, cookies serve as an authentication feature.

11.1 Google technologies
Various technologies by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”) are used on our website. For more information on Google’s terms of service and privacy policy, please visit www.google.de/policies/privacy.
11.1.1 Google Analytics
The platform uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service offered by Google. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, which are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your website usage. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, Google will first truncate your IP address within EU Member States or other parties to the agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the website operator to evaluate your website usage, compile reports on website activity, and provide the website operator with further services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be associated with other data held by Google. You may prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser, however please note that doing so may mean that you are unable to make full use of all features of this website. You may also prevent the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) from being conveyed to and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
11.1.2 Google Conversion Tracking
Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking, a Google analysis service offered as part of Google AdWords by Upsolut. Google Adwords places a cookie on your computer (“conversion cookie”) if you click on an ad delivered by Google on our website. These cookies expire after 30 days and do not serve personal identification. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google will be able to recognise that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to our page. Every AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies therefore cannot be tracked across websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. AdWords customers see the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they will not receive any information that can personally identify users. If you do not want to participate in the tracking, you can take the necessary steps to block cookies – by adjusting your browser settings to deactivate the automatic storage of cookies, for example. You can also deactivate cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the “googleadservices.com” domain.
11.1.3 Google remarketing
Our website uses Google’s remarketing technology. This technology allows users, who have already visited the website and shown an interest in offers, to be addressed again with targeted advertising for Upsolut offers on the pages of the Google Partner Network. Cookies are used to display the advertising. These cookies can be used to analyse user behaviour during the visit to the websites and subsequently used to generate targeted product recommendations and interest-based advertising. If you do not wish to receive any interest-based advertising, you can disable the use of cookies by Google for this purposes by visiting the DoubleClick cookie opt-out page (www.google.de/settings/ads/onweb#display_optout). Alternatively, you can deactivate the use of cookies by third parties by visiting the opt-out page of the Network Advertising Initiative (www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp).
11.2 Use of Facebook plugins
Our website uses plugins of the facebook.com social network, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). When you visit a website that contains such a plugin, a connection is established to the Facebook servers, which instruct your browser to display the plugin on the website. Among others, the details of which page of our website you have visited are transmitted to the Facebook server. If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account. When using the plugin functions (e.g. clicking the “Like” button, posting a comment), this information is also assigned to your Facebook account. You can only prevent this by logging out of Facebook before using the plugin. For more information on Facebook’s collection and use of the data, your rights and possibilities to protect your privacy, please see Facebook’s data policy.
11.3 Integration of additional social plugins
Our website includes social plugins (“plugins”) from selected platforms (e.g. YouTube videos, Twitter, Vimeo, Pinterest, Instagram). These plugins are usually identified by the logo of the platform operator and/or a written addition such as “Like”, “Recommend” or “Tweet”.
The plugins integrated into the pages usually transfer data to the platform operators as soon as the website is loaded – so entirely without your involvement. In addition to the URL of the page visited, an ID can be transmitted, which can be directly linked to a person – at least for users registered on the platform.
Please note that as the website provider, we do not receive any information on the content of the data transmitted and its use by the respective platform operator.
For details of the purpose and scope of data collection as well as further processing and use of the data by the platforms in addition to on your associated rights and settings options to protect your privacy, please see to the data protection information of the respective platform operator:
